7th Grade Girls Basketball Tryouts
Any 7th grade girl that is interested in trying out for the 7th grade girls basketball team should sign up in Miss Golden’s room (#209) during PACE. Tryouts will be held Monday November 1st, Wednesday November 3rd, and Friday November 5th. Please make sure that you have your physical, code of conduct, and impact test forms submitted or you will not be permitted to try out. See Miss Golden with any questions.
HALLOWEEN DANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO IMPENDING WEATHER
8TH GRADE CELEBRATING SPIRIT WEEK THIS WEEK
Due to impending weather the KV Challenge has been rescheduled to November 1. The week leading up to the Challenge, 8th grade will be celebrating spirit week. On Monday show your spirit by bring your books to school in anything but a backpack. Bring them in an Amazon box or a pillow case, just not a backpack. On Tuesday wear something from your favorite sports team. On Wednesday wear your team color; Black, Grey, Red or White. On Thursday all of KV is encouraged to dress for Halloween. Daily treats for the Challenge team showing the most spirit and Chick-Fil-A for the Challenge Team showing the most spirit for the whole week.
TECHNOLOGY CLUB INFORMATION
Technology Club is meeting on Thursday, October 28th from 3:05—5:00 p.m. Those students who are current members are reminded to gather all instruments ahead of time before reporting to room 150. Please also remember to bring a snack for the snack break at 4:00 p.m.
HSA FRITZ'S STICKY BUN FUNDRAISER
The Keith Valley HSA is hosting a Fritz’s Sticky Bun sale beginning October 18th and will run until October 28th. Order forms will be given to homeroom teachers to distribute. The order form can also be found on the District Home and School page in addition to the HSA Facebook page. Online orders can be accepted and instructions on how to do that are on the order form.
The 3 homeroom classrooms with the highest sales total will win a Rita’s Water Ice Party in the spring!! All orders are due NO LATER than October 28th!
7TH GRADE READING OLYMPICS
There will be a meeting for any 7th grader interested in joining Reading Olympics in Miss Beltz’s room (number 202) on Wednesday October 27th during PACE. If you have your permission slip, please bring it with you. KVMS SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB
We are excited to offer our KVMS Ski and Snowboard Club this year! We are now preparing for the 2021-2022 ski season. So whether you are a newbie to our club or a returning member, we urge you to sit in on our informational meeting on Wednesday, November 3rd from 6:00 – 7:00 on TEAMS. The meeting link is located below.

SAFE SPACES CLUB
Do the letters LGBT mean something to you? Are you looking for a safe space to discuss LGBT issues and to plan projects to spread kindness and acceptance throughout our school? Then Safe Spaces Club is the Club for you! Safe Spaces Club will have it’s first meeting on Tuesday, October 26th after school in room 202, Ms. Beltz’s classroom. The meeting will end at 4:00 so please arrange for your own transportation home. Interested but can’t make the meeting, please see Ms. Beltz directly.
There will be a Yearbook Club meeting on Wednesday, October 27th during PACE in room 218. All members of the Yearbook Staff should attend!
8th GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS
Any 8th grade girls that are interested in trying out for the KV basketball team this Winter should sign up with Mr. Carr in the Athletic Office. Please sign up as soon as possible so that we are able to check on your sports paperwork. Thank you.
KV RACK (RANDOM ACTS OF CARING & KINDNESS) There will be a KV RACK (Random Acts of Caring & Kindness) Club meeting on Thursday, October 28th during PACE in room 218. If you were not able to make the last meeting but are interested in taking part, please be sure to attend this meeting!

This year is KV's 50th Anniversary edition! In honor of this, yearbooks can be pre-ordered at the lowest possible price of $25 until October, 31st! This is the lowest price we've had in years! Don't miss out on a chance to document this school year! The price of the yearbook will be increasing on November 1st! Orders can be placed online at www.balfour.com, or by turning in a paper order form to Ms. Elvidge (in room 218) or the main office.
